For the past few years, Style with Charlotte has been my playground, my portfolio, and my promise to show up fully—out loud and in colour—for women navigating midlife and beyond. What began as a celebration of personal style grew into something far deeper: a movement about agency, reinvention, and joy. And somewhere along the way, I felt it. That tug. That knowing. The sense that this identity—beautiful as it is—was no longer big enough to hold what’s coming next.
It’s not that I’m turning away from Style with Charlotte. It’s more than shedding a skin. Honouring the season that got me here, while making space for what’s beginning to bloom.
Because something is blooming.
This identity—beautiful as it is—is no longer big enough to hold what’s coming next...
I’ve been living into the idea of The Charlotte Affects for months—quietly, tenderly, and more recently, with conviction. The name came to me as a whisper at first, then a spark, then a full-body yes. It speaks to transformation, to resonance, to the kind of woman I’ve become… and the kind of woman I support.
Where Style with Charlotte was about expression, The Charlotte Affects is about impact.
It’s not just how we look. It’s how we live.
How we affect the spaces we enter.
How we allow life to affect us—and how we rise from it.
I work with women who are at a threshold—somewhere between who they were told to be and who they’re finally ready to become. Many of us are in our 50s or 60s, but what we’re doing is ageless. We’re reimagining what it means to show up, to start fresh, to find our second (or third, or tenth) act. We’re dressing for ourselves, speaking from lived experience, and doing it all with that gorgeous blend of boldness and earned softness that only comes with time.
The Charlotte Affects isn’t a reinvention.
It’s an evolution.
Where Style with Charlotte was about expression, The Charlotte Affects is about impact.
So if you start seeing the name appear here and there—in a hashtag, a footer, a heading—know that it’s intentional. I’m planting seeds. Waking up the search engines. Leaving breadcrumbs for the full reveal to come.
This summer, I’ll be updating the site, refining my offerings, and stepping fully into The Charlotte Affects as my home. It’s a creative and spiritual rebrand. One that reflects not just what I offer, but how I live, love, and lead.
If you’ve been with me for a while—thank you. You’ve been part of the story that made this next season possible. And if you’re just finding me now, welcome. You’re catching me in motion. Mid-change. Fully alive.
The Charlotte Affects is about personal power.
It’s about seasonality, reinvention, and resonance.
It’s about you.
It’s about us.
And it’s just getting started.
